The last step before state was taken Saturday by the McPherson High School/Smoky Valley High School boys swim team, as the Bullpups/Vikings claimed fourth place out of 10 teams at the AVCTL Division 3 and 4 league meet in Hutchinson. The class 5A-1A state boys swim and dive meet being will be held Feb.
The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m by Mayor Kruse. Council members present and answering roll call: Deb Murphy, David Jackson and Vernon Cathey via phone.
