Bethany wrestlers lose two in Bartlesville
The Bethany College wrestling team lost to Oklahoma Wesleyan and Avila University in Friday matches at the Oklahoma school in Bartlesville. Against Wesleyan, one Swede was given a win by way of forfeit, and Warrezi Mitchell lost his match in the 141-pound division.
Bethany women handily beat 2 more
The Bethany College women’s basketball team last week extended their win run to four, by wide margins. They beat McPherson College at home Feb.
Bethany men beat McPherson, lose at Southwestern
The Bethany College men’s basketball team lost to McPherson College in their previous encounter, but at home on Feb. 5 they beat the Bulldogs 93-78.
Bethany pole vaulter Brice takes 3rd
Bethany College freshman Dylan Brice set a personal record and placed third in the pole vault at the Concordia Invitational indoor track and field meet Friday, which was held at Concordia University in Seward, Neb. Brice cleared 14 feet 7 inches.
