Ralph was born in Lindsborg, KS to Carl B. and Mildred V. (Holmstrom) Anderson. He was the second of four boys and was preceded in death by his parents and beloved brothers James Michael Anderson of Manitou Springs, CO and Judge Carl B Anderson of Lindsborg, KS.
 He graduated from Lindsborg High School; Bethany College, Lindsborg, KS; The Lutheran School of Theology, Chicago/Rock Island, IL; and Eden The­ological Seminary, St. Louis, MO.
 He served parishes in Shawnee Mission, KS; San Francisco, CA; San Mateo, CA; Columbia, MO; Rochester, NY; retiring to Colorado Springs.
 He is survived by his devoted wife, Jan (Janet Martens) Anderson, his two daughters Kris (Sam) Heckman and Megan (William) Rusconi; four grandchildren Katie and Will Rusconi, James and Robert Hunt, his oldest brother Dr. Richard (Marylen) Anderson, Salina, KS; sisters-in-law, brothers-in law, nieces, nephews and their children.
 A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday June 8, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. in Messiah Lutheran Church, 402 North 1st Street, Lindsborg, KS 67456. Reception to follow.
