Dale Ray Swenson, son of Lou and Raynold Swenson, passed away peacefully at his home in Lindsborg, on June 28, 2025 at the age of 72. He will be fondly remembered by his wife of 47 years Julie (Adams); daughter Katie (Mike, Syd); son Kendall (Amber); sister Debra Patterson; brothers-in-law Mark (Melissa) Adams and Stacy (Sandy) Adams; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews, and their families.
 Dale grew up in the Lindsborg area as a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, attended Vo-Ag classes in McPherson, and graduated from Lindsborg High School in 1971 to pursue a farming way of life. With support from his family, he was a farmer-stockman for over three decades in the Smoky Valley area. He also provided custom swathing, baling, plowing, and harvesting services for friends and neighbors.
 In retirement, Dale fueled his passion for agriculture by collecting, restoring, and fabricating unique farm toy implements which were sought out by avid regional collectors. Dale loved the outdoors and was a farm pond fishing guru providing tips, tackle, and techniques to willing participants. Whether through the ice or from the shore, he inspired fishing fever and many friends and family members over the years.
 As Dale requested, cremation has been chosen and there will be no services. Has remains will be placed during a private family event in the future.
