The Kansas Department of Transportation has budgeted $800,000 to patch Highway 4 – Harrison Street – between Swensson and Lincoln. The first half of the money is to come in the state’s 2027 fiscal year, which means after July 1, 2026, and the second half in fiscal year 2028.
Because Kansas law recognizes that “a representative government is dependent upon an informed electorate,” the meetings of local governments, such as county and city commissions, are “open to the public.”
