They and two other Smoky Valley High School students, Pierce Keller and Rebel O'Farrell, took turns quarterbacking in a game on the northwest corner of the football field Sunday afternoon. Each possession began at the 50 and moved north, to take advantage of the light wind in what was strictly a passing game. Only O'Farrell plays football for the Vikings, but each of the other boys either plays baseball or tennis. They joined each other on the gridiron to enjoy a sunny day in the 50s after a week in which the temperature was never much above freezing, and for four days barely broke 20.
