The Smoky Valley High School softball team lost 16-1 in both games of their double header in Haven on April 1. In the first game, the Wildcats scored in all four innings, including five runs in each the second and third.

The Bethany College softball team lost four games on the road in the past week. The Swedes gave up a double header April 2 at Sterling College, 3-0 and then 9-0 in five innings.

The Bethany College men’s tennis team played three meets in five days, winning once.

The Bethany College softball team split a double header with York University on March 25 and lost both games Saturday to Oklahoma Wesleyan University. This was all at home.

The Bethany College baseball team lost four games in row last week on the road, the first to University of St. Mary, on March 25, the others to Kansas Wesleyan University on Friday and Saturday.

The Bethany College men’s track and field team placed 22nd out of 24 last week at the Emporia State Relays. There was no team score for the women.
