The Bethany College Swedes men's and women’s tennis teams both won 7-0 against Avila University in Kansas City, Mo., on March 18. On Monday at Bethel College, the men lost 7-0 and the women lost 6-1.
The Bethany College women’s softball team won a road game against Tabor College on March 20, but lost the second half of the double header and both games Saturday at Friends University.
The Bethany College baseball team played five home games in six days, winning twice.

The Bethany College men’s golf team placed third out of nine at the Evangel Spring Invitational on March 10-11 in Springfield, Mo.
Judging by the score, it would appear to many that a football game broke out in the middle of spring in Bethany College’s 25-15 loss to Friends on Saturday, but instead the game took place on a baseball diamond as the Swedes dropped the series and fell to 10-14 on the year. After a 1-4 start to the season, the Bethany College baseball team ripped off six wins in their next seven games, including a series split against Huston-Tillotson, a series sweep over Waldorf, and a series sweep over Sterling.
The Bethany College softball team lost both games at Oklahoma City University on March 11, and both games at home against Evangel University on Saturday.
The Bethany College men’s and women’s tennis teams both lost 4-3 at home against Kansas Wesleyan University on March 11. Two days later in Bartlesville, the men won 5-2 against Oklahoma Wesleyan University, and the women lost 6-1.

My husband, Jeff, and I did our best to take advantage of unique Scandinavian opportunities during our final weeks abroad. Since it was winter, that naturally meant skiing! We managed to watch two World Cup events and ski the 56-mile-long Vasaloppet race.
