The Bethany College indoor track & field team had seven total personal records, four event finalists, and two top-four finishes at the Friends University First Chance Qualifier meet held at Wichita State University Jan. 11.

High school basketball is officially back across the state of Kansas following Christmas break and a slew of games being canceled due to wintry weather, as Smoky Valley High School debuted in 2025 with a road test against Southeast of Saline on Jan. 9.
